Photos from the Maui Marathon, Sept 14, 2008
On a warm and humid morning I ran from Kahului to Kaanapali in the Maui Marathon. I anticipated that a sore tendon in my shin might prevent me from finishing but it held up and I ran 4:34, a comfortable time for the conditions. Marie Zornes recognized me at the start and introduced me to her friend Dana Peters and to Bart Yasso, with whom they planned to run. We ended up all spending the afternoon together after Bart invited us up to his suite after the race.
