Agates from Studebaker Creek near Toutle, WA

Studebaker Creek is an agate digging area in somewhat wet private timberland a few miles south of Toutle, WA. As of August 2017, I do not know if the area is still open to the public. To get there, navigate to 1010 Moore Road, Toutle. Park and walk southeast on a forest road, bearing left after crossing the railroad tracks in about 0.1 mile. Continue for half a mile then find the digging area about 100 yards off into the woods on the left.
