Photos from salmon fishing out of Ilwaco, WA, Aug 21-23, 2011
Westport was too rough so Larry, Bill and I tried Ilwaco this year. We fished three days between the Astoria Bridge and the Columbia bar and landed only one wild Coho. We saw lots of pelicans and cormorants and other fisherman and a few sea lions and big ships. Once again it was good to be out on the water but I had to go to QFC to bring home some salmon.
