Photos from a rock-hunting trip with Pat in central Oregon and Washington during late May, 2008. We started at Madras at the
Ashwood Rockstock get-together Memorial Day weekend but rain rendered the roads to the agate beds impassable so we drove south to the Paulina limb cast location along the South Fork of the Crooked River and stayed there three days. We then drove down to Burns intending to search for Stinkingwater petrified oak along Clear Creek but thunderstorms and rain made that area inaccessible too so we returned north through Madras and ended up at Saddle Mountain in Washington for a night before returning home. Good trip despite rain every day.
