Photos from hike up South Sister near Bend OR with Daniel, David and Silas
On 8/14/07 Daniel and David, my nephew Silas and I hiked up the South Sister volcano following the well-maintained trail up the south side. Beautiful weather, flowers at their peak, orange California Tortoiseshell butterflies everywhere around the summit. Deep turquoise lake in the crater snowfield at the summit.
