Photos from hike up Bridge Mountain near Las Vegas, July 14, 2003
Bridge Mountain is a sandstone dome in Red Rocks Canyon west of Las Vegas named for a natural bridge on its western flank. Daniel, David and I hiked it on a warm (100F) day without enough water. We had stashed a gallon at the trailhead and gulped it down in less than a minute at the conclusion of our hike.
